WHO WE ARE
Scot-Study® is an Edinburgh-based EdTech reshaping Scottish higher education and international student recruitment. Scot-study is a trademark registered to the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) and an EdTech brand of Scotia World Limited. Our mission is to elevate Scotland's education sector on the global stage by connecting talented students with the right opportunities through technology, insight, and community.
OUR MISSION
At the core of our work is the Scot-Study® App, the first mobile app/website dedicated exclusively to student recruitment in Scotland. This self-managed, technology-driven app empowers international students to make confident, informed decisions about their study destination. Through seamless course and university comparisons, comprehensive access to information on Scottish institutions, scholarships, and programmes, and 24/7 online support, Scot-Study® supports students at every stage of their academic journey. Our impact extends far beyond recruitment. Through pre-departure events, annual networking luncheons, and university visits across Scotland, we actively cultivate a vibrant, inclusive student ecosystem.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2019 and registered with the Registrar of Companies for Scotland (Companies House), Scot-Study® was born from academic research conducted at one of the renowned Scottish universities, which highlighted a striking imbalance: while 85% of international students chose England, only 7% selected Scotland. Recognising both the challenge and the opportunity, we set out to reposition Scotland as a leading global study destination. Since then, Scot-Study® has supported the enrolment of thousands of students, expanded across six countries, and established a second office in Lagos, Nigeria.
